Reverse charge VAT is a rule that shifts the responsibility for reporting and paying VAT from the seller to the buyer. Instead of the seller adding VAT to the invoice, the buyer accounts for both the output VAT and input VAT on their own VAT return. The seller does need to add a note on the invoice that the VAT is reverse-charged.
